Dear Home Builders,
In my apartment, the oil heating system SCHRAG Satellite TV 15 S is installed. It has been working excellently for years except for about a week ago. I will now try to describe the problem to you in detail and also everything I have already tried together with a heating engineer. All attempts were carried out under strict safety regulations and laws.
Unfortunately, no tiled stove builder has time for me, and I have been sitting sick in a cooled-down apartment for quite a while now. The situation is bad for me, and therefore I want to express my appreciation and say thank you right at the beginning for reading this!
Problem:
The flame in the burner pot is very small and does not emit the necessary heat. The thermostat setting does not matter. After different times between 10 - 60 minutes, I receive error code 13 by blinking on the control unit.
What else I have noticed:
When I open the inspection hole, an astonishing amount of smoke comes out, which is normally not the case.
What I have already tried:
Since I have the same heating system installed and working on the floor below, I have compared several things. I have documented these among other things in videos to enable an assessment.
1. Does enough oil come from the basement pump to the dosing unit?
For this, I opened the dosing pump and manually operated the float. I found that a good amount of oil reaches it.
2. Does enough oil pass through the small pipe over the dosing pump?
For this, I compared my amount of oil with the amount from the functioning heating system. Both seem to deliver the same amount.
3. Does enough oil reach the burner pot?
I blew through the pipe in the burner with a compressor and followed it with a wire. I noticed that more air flows through the functioning heating system than through the problematic heating system. Nevertheless, air flows through, and it should be open.
4. Is the chimney not drawing enough and is it too dirty?
I opened the exhaust pipes on the rear assembly of the heating system to ensure sufficient extraction.
5. Ignition gap set
I adjusted the gap again appropriately. It definitely ignites, but the flame remains too small.

I ask for help and am grateful for any tip!!
What could it be? Control unit?
If the problem cannot be solved, I could buy and install the same burner drawer from eBay. However, that would cost me about 1000€ and would be a shame if it is possibly only due to something small.
