Hello, we would like to install our satellite system on our roof with a 5° slope. The cables will not be routed through the roof to avoid a potential weak point (they will be laid outside). Now our construction management rejects the installation of a stand base in which concrete slabs can be placed. They say these would be too heavy for the roof. I can’t imagine that. Could the stand base possibly be shifted by the wind? Are the concrete slabs really a problem for a shed roof? Our neighbors all have their dishes on the shed roof. Strange?
