My experience on the subject:

My parents built a house 15 years ago and chose a premium engobe, which still looks like new today. Comparable buildings with concrete tiles nearby already look unattractive. Therefore, I also decided on a premium engobe.

We then had the right to choose the Harzer in surface finish Star matt. That is smoother than Classic matt. Supposed to delay moss growth. The roof looks really nice with it covered. Pleasant symmetry. Calm appearance.

What is your experience after 4 years? Do the Harzer still look reasonable or are there already initial moss problems?

Still moss-free. The Harzer. But there are also few trees here.
