Hello everyone,
I have a terraced house and a new neighbor who complained about the gutter between both houses, although neither his nor my house has any moisture damage. To maintain neighborly peace, I agreed to have the gutter replaced by a roofer.
The roofer replaced the gutter and installed a drip edge, which replaces the bottom row of roof tiles and in this context covers about the first 45 cm of my roof along the entire length. Is this sensible?
Is there also a possibility to put the roof tiles back onto the drip edge, or does this pose a risk of damaging the drip edge short- and/or long-term?
I hope you can provide some clarity.
