hi everyone,

I have a question regarding our roof insulation.
We are currently building a Kfw70 single-family house.

I heard that the insulation from the inside should be constructed like this:
rigips board -> foil -> mineral wool -> roofing membrane -> roof tile

We have double insulation. It is constructed like this:
rigips board -> mineral wool -> foil -> mineral wool -> roofing membrane -> roof tile

I have now noticed that the mineral wool of the first insulation is damp at the foil. But it looks like it is condensation water from inside. The building is currently drying.

Can you tell me if this is correct?

Thanks

Hi,
Moisture in the insulation layer is never right. The construction in principle is.

What exactly is the structure?

thank you

Hi,

I actually wanted to know how strong the respective insulation layers are..........

I think it is the construction moisture. Either it is already so cold at the vapor barrier that the moist air condenses, or you have so much moisture in the room that the air is saturated. And nothing can diffuse away through the vapor barrier.

So, ventilate and heat a lot

Regards
