Hello,
we plan to start building the house at the end of October / beginning of November.
We are getting some Roto R8 roof windows, which according to the Roto homepage have the following specifications "triple safety and thermal insulation glazing with anti-condensation coating and sound insulation (SSK 3)".
If we choose roller shutters, I would like to have them installed right away so that the electrical connection can be properly done with a switch. Alternatively, I would opt for a blackout blind plus an external sun screen.
Do you have any experience with the noise level a roller shutter on a roof window produces, or are the plastic slats even louder than when the rain hits the glass directly?
Thank you
