Rimless toilet or rather not?

We need to order our sanitary fixtures and have just heard from acquaintances that they are not at all satisfied with their rimless toilet.
What have you installed - with or without a rim - and are you satisfied??

Rimless - Keramag Icon Does exactly what it is supposed to No splashing or anything like that, which is probably what you mean. I find it almost perfect for keeping the toilet clean as well, since there are no rims on/under which dirt could accumulate.

we are also planning without a rim, since nowadays there are only those.

Why are they not satisfied? I would be interested in that too

We also have the icon in the order and now doubts have arisen because the acquaintances just find the rimless toilet so annoying. Apparently, everything always splashes onto the lid. Nice to hear that you are satisfied with the Icon.

We have installed the Keramag 4U, the Icon, and a Villeroy and Boch and are very satisfied with all of them. Nothing splashes and they are simply easier to keep clean. The only thing that drove the installers crazy with the Keramag was the installation (screwing), which is quite tricky. BUT that wouldn't be your problem!

With the Villeroy and Boch, this is easier because the sides (outside) are not completely closed, but where the threaded rods for mounting come through, it is accessible.

Regarding splashing, this may possibly also be due to the water pressure or the cistern combined with the WC. There are indeed combinations that do not fit well together, although this usually results in not everything being flushed through with water.
