Hello dear forum community!

I have purchased a piece of land. For this, we went to a notary chosen by the municipality that sold the land. I paid this notary.

Now, substantive questions about the purchase contract have arisen afterwards. I contacted the notary about this, who simply told me, "I am not really familiar with that and cannot confirm anything for you."

So, to be very specific: Is there a legal right to information even after signing the purchase contract?

Thanks & regards

The notary should have gone through every sentence of the purchase contract during the appointment, what kind of question do you have?

You wanted to have something confirmed!?

But that probably has nothing to do with the content of the contract?

That depends on the questions: Question: Do I understand the contract correctly that the municipality has committed to constructing streets and lighting by August 2019? He can answer that. Question: Is it correct that my property can drain forward without problems? He may have to pass on that one.

I would have no qualms about asking questions regarding the business transaction, even retrospectively. That means questions related to the purchase and its processing.
