Revision flap in the bathtub base?

do you have an access panel in the base of your tiled bathtub?

My husband and I are discussing whether it is necessary or sensible.

I would find the panel very ugly, especially since the tub is tiled with a particularly beautiful wood-effect tile.

I think it makes sense. Because if the amateurs are defective, maintenance can be carried out through this flap. You can stick the tile exactly over the flap, then you can't see anything of it anymore. And if necessary, you only have to renew the joint.

Our bathtub was clogged once before – we were able to clear it from above using a lot of chemicals. With a service shaft, we could have resolved it more effectively.
