Retrofitting an enthalpy exchanger yourself - experience reports?

Had the same problem... although with a Helios system, but basically similar.

Open the flap, loosen one screw, take out the old exchanger, put in the new one, screw in the screw. Close the flap. Done. Don’t forget to vacuum;-)

Warranty or not, 750 euros for the installation is a rip-off.

The humidity is much better now, the 1k was definitely worth it for us!

..make sure to reinstall the old brick if the main device unexpectedly breaks before the technician arrives, so as not to jeopardize the warranty.

Was similar low effort for us at Stiebel. To ensure this, we exchange the heat exchanger in summer for the summer cassette. Thus, no warranty would expire.
