Had the same problem... although with a Helios system, but basically similar.

Open the flap, loosen one screw, take out the old exchanger, put in the new one, screw in the screw. Close the flap. Done. Don’t forget to vacuum;-)

Warranty or not, 750 euros for the installation is a rip-off.

The humidity is much better now, the 1k was definitely worth it for us!

Was similar low effort for us at Stiebel. To ensure this, we exchange the heat exchanger in summer for the summer cassette. Thus, no warranty would expire.
