You don't have to run a farm with a horse in the outdoor area for that. The criteria are extremely strict and practically leave no room for creative "business ideas." The farm operation must serve as a livelihood. Only continued use as a secondary occupation is possible for the last farm operators. Sometimes also for the children, but conversions are generally excluded.

Raising horse keeping "professionally" was also a thought I am toying with. However, I estimate that 5 horses will not be enough

Why only five? - at least one only eats its retirement feed, two others share the job as therapy horses in semi-retirement, two experienced logging horses have a third as an "apprentice", that makes seven including yours. Horses can't only be sports animals. For carriage rides you need more, that only works with draft horses; you can't use the breeding stallion for that. "Ten little negroes" can certainly also be played in reverse...

And above all, if you then rent out the stable places. Then quickly 10 more guest horses come along. And for the riding school, I can already see 200 children booking one hour per week. You can sell the manure as natural fertilizer to the surrounding organic farms and to make the truck with a crane worthwhile, you also open a construction equipment rental.
