Replace IKEA Atlant with standard siphon

Hello,

I definitely want to replace the Ikea Atlant siphon on our new kitchen due to structural circumstances. I am aware that the siphon only costs 10 €. But I do not want and cannot install an Ikea Atlant.

After the third kitchen, I can say that it works. I did the conversion. Back then we replaced everything. Unfortunately, I didn’t remember which brands we used.

Now to my actual question. Has anyone already done an Atlant replacement, and if so, with which models? Since my former plumber is no longer available, I have to start from scratch.

I have been through the usual hardware store chains, everywhere the same answer: Ikea has no standard but its own measurements. Thanks, I already knew that; there was no further help, except for the advice to go to a specialist retailer.

Only the "plate" that is mounted directly under the basin is unique to IKEA, as it is the holder for the strainer in the basin. Everything that comes after that is standardized (just please don't ask me how many inches exactly - you can take it to the hardware store).



Although this is the picture of the stopper lever, it doesn't matter - everything from the red circle onwards is changeable...

Thank you, this is the first thread that helps me a little.

Due to my structural conditions, I unfortunately cannot use the siphon from Ikea either – the drain in the wall is not deep enough, so the flexible drain pipe from "Atlant" does not get enough slope and the water drains very slowly. A "normal" siphon, like the one my landlord had, will probably provide a solution.

Could you possibly upload a photo of your siphon so I can estimate whether it would help me?
Did you only replace the siphon or also the drain strainer?

Do you have a manufacturer / model designation for this? Unfortunately, I can’t find it with this information...

I am facing the problem that the sink base cabinet is not located directly where the connections and drain pipes are, but in the cabinet 60 cm next to it (distance siphon -> wastewater connection approx. 90 cm) – and the Atlant cannot be extended.

That means
Option 1: Supply lines (standardized) and wastewater pipe (the one from the wall, standardized) are extended, then the Atlant is connected, or

Option 2: Completely different siphon, with extension.
