repair white spots

Hello,

after moving in and installing all electrical/furniture parts (lamps etc.), we did notice some stains.

Our painter "touched up" these. He used the same white paint, but now you can see these touched-up spots when the light hits them, even though he dabbed the paint. According to him, he used the same white paint.

Is it possible that after about 8 weeks the same white paint looks different? Do these spots possibly fade and blend in?

The paint is on textured wallpaper.

We have the same "problem" as well.

Despite the ridiculously expensive paint (Caparol Indeko Plus), white is not always white. Maybe it’s because of different thicknesses due to/multiple coats? We haven’t found a solution and completely repainting the entire wall each time is not an option either.

P.S. No improvement can be seen even after 2 1/2 months.

Yes, unfortunately that is the case and no, the spots do not fade.

The only tip for future painting work: always have the painter give you a jar of the paint. This ensures that during touch-ups the repaired spots do not stand out from the rest of the paint.

The problem is, however, that he probably used the same type of paint, but not the color that was painted back then.

Correct. We already had that problem in the apartment as well. Since then, we always pour ourselves a glass of the used paint for touch-ups, as different batches can visibly differ from each other.
Of course, this only works as long as the saved paint hasn’t dried out...
