The "actual use" is updated, for example, in the cadastre. Usage type boundaries (not to be confused with property boundaries) are incorporated into the map, which prove the newly built-up areas or document demarcations to agricultural areas, etc. The standard land value map is updated once a year in parallel by the expert committee, and in the land register, for example, a (partial) area is listed as "Building and open space Pusemuckelstr. 118" with the corresponding area information or similar.

The overall picture therefore always results from public (written) entries and the entire map material.
