Hello,

that is exactly the problem. Some have indeed behaved more than unethically and unfairly, but now everyone is being portrayed as fraudsters and criminals by many people.

The scammers and fraudsters rightly deserve to be punished with all available severity – but I resist with all means at my disposal being placed on the same level with these "birds" together with all my honest and fair colleagues.

Before I switched to the Compliance department of "my" bank, I worked for 15 years in various positions in branches in sales and can still look every one of my former customers in the eye today and am not pelted with tomatoes in the branch environment either.

Regards,

Dirk

And once again, "the banks" are all being tarred with the same brush.
There are bad apples in every industry. Of course, you need banks to handle payment transactions.
There are also doctors who botch things or bill incorrectly. In the end, we all pay for that too. Doctors are also "systemically relevant." Are all doctors evil now?
Sure, every bank has to generate profits – most other companies have to do that as well.
But you must not forget that there are plenty of banks with a public mandate. And that many (especially regional) banks also show a lot of social and community commitment. Or do you think the sports clubs in the village have the advertising boards from [Sparkasse] and [Volksbank] for free? No, with the money they get for that, for example, youth work in the club is supported...

Update: Today we received a refund from DSL Bank for the processing fees plus interest. Very nice!
