Recessed gable wall, loggia at the gable, surcharge

I already had a floor plan finished, but overall I wasn’t so happy because it would simply be a totally ordinary single-family house. I also have other ideas, but I know the money won’t be enough for those.

If you were willing to invest 50k in a design gimmick, it baffles my imagination what it wouldn’t be enough for.

I really find this gable with the walls on the sides, which overall reflects the outline of the house, very appealing. Especially with the contrast of different materials. In the end, it’s probably a matter of taste.

By the way, Schwörerhaus has a similar one without the loggia, only with a gable-side roof overhang and side walls. Do you mean something like this (Google finds the house under Schwörerhaus Helmstorf)?

I think what is meant here is a taste that at least (in his case with a shed roof) shares, namely a "floor-to-ceiling roof overhang" on the gable sides. Like this show house Helmstorf or indeed

Honestly, I don't see any connection to the displayed gable roof houses. But I don't care now… everyone should spend 50000€ however they like.

Is there a development plan? What does it say about it?

Should it be completely glazed as well? And with oblique windows? Then it will be expensive. But in total, it might be possible to stay within the 50k. Such things are rarely off the shelf. So the price is usually marked up.

Your architect should be able to advise you on that.
