an important aspect for me in the comparisons:
Sealed floors usually look "like new" longer than unsealed (oiled or similar). But once the first dents appear (surface damage), in my opinion, it always looks awful. Heavy dark spots that – unlike with oiled floors – can no longer be removed. Aside from environmental compatibility, this is a clear advantage for me of "real solid wood."
