Hello,
on the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, our front garden (rock garden with some plants) was dismantled into its components by an animal unknown to us personally :D.
Specifically, this means:
- All plants (perennials) were bitten about 5 cm above the ground, the grasses were partially "only" trampled down and thus broken.
- Deep scratch marks are visible in the "gravel bed."
- The gravel is partially scattered within a 2m radius of the planting bed.
- In the exposed soil, there are animal tracks we cannot identify – they look like oversized marten tracks.
- Some plants were also bitten and damaged at the immediate neighbor's place.
Have you ever experienced something similar and can tell us which animal might be vandalizing around and what I can do about it (besides a pitfall with a vicious wolf in it )?
Constantly buying new plants is not really an option... ;)
Best regards,
Dirk
