We have planned underfloor heating in the house (ground floor and attic). The basement is unheated. Currently, only three rooms are planned in the basement. A utility room, a storage room, and a relatively large room to which no specific function has yet been assigned. My electrician now said that I should tell the heating engineer to simply run a connection from the heating circuit distributor on the ground floor to the basement. This can initially be sealed off with a plug and turned off. If the large room is later to be used as a hobby room or similar and heated, a radiator can be connected to the pipes at a later time. Question: Does that make sense? Does that work that simply?
