Hello dear Ikea fans!
For our new apartment, we are looking for a new sofa set. After we had almost decided on Arild, we started having doubts about comfort and long-term seating comfort. The low backrests of the Arild do look "stylish," but the question is how well one can "lounge around" on them. :D
Now we have noticed the Älvros series and I have a few questions about it:
- Does anyone here have a sofa/chair from this series and can say something about the quality?
- I have seen various videos on YouTube (including IKEA spots) showing Älvros sofas with adjustable features or a pull-out footrest. I found nothing about this on the German IKEA website. Is this option no longer available in Germany?
- I am a bit heavier (~140kg) and would like to know how stable the sofas are.
- How sensitive is the leather, especially the light version, are there any experiences?
- Does anyone know who manufactures the sofas for IKEA?
Maybe you could answer a few of these questions. I would be very happy! :)
Best regards Mac
