But I can do that with laminate too. I also don't like PVC flooring. I also don't like these plasticizers in this floor.

If you buy good laminate flooring, then you don't need PVC, Jonas is right about that.

These are different worlds. There are also PVC floors that - similar to laminate - deceptively imitate natural materials. PVC is completely insensitive to moisture; laminate can be ruined by improper cleaning techniques. It is true that PVC basically consists of toxic components; however, this is not a problem during the period of use, but it is during disposal and in case of fire.
