Property Purchase: Buy a Corner Plot or One in the Middle?

We can buy either a corner plot or a plot in the middle on the same street in a residential area. What are the pros and cons of a corner plot?
The lighting and slope are similar. Price per sqm is the same.

Corner, that means more street frontage, higher snow clearing costs and so on, and with later development higher contributions from residents, one can better gawk at the property as a passerby.

I would always choose the middle. I find it cozier because you can close off the street front.

Corner, as there are fewer neighbors and therefore more privacy. We gladly accepted the one-time connection fees. Simply a nice hedge against passersby.

At a corner, one is doubly "vulnerable." Cars tend to travel 50 meters rather than just 25 meters. Snow and clearing obligations are also doubled. Regardless of whether there is a hedge, fence, or nothing at all.

And then at some point the question arises whether you are actually not allowed to stretch the hedge at a right angle along the boundary, but have to keep a visibility triangle free... ;-)
