Wastewater disposal takes place via a sewer, the location of which can only be told to you by the responsible "supplier" (public utilities or the like). You will have to bring the part of the line you are procuring yourself fairly close to the boundary to the public street area. A few dozen meters are usually standard, but these can already be used up by the cul-de-sac here. Your inspection chamber will be at the handover point; this is not negotiable but must be clarified with the "supplier." They usually have a "builder consultation" for this. However, right now you will only be able to agree on the framework conditions; your drainage planning will be done by your architect. The manhole covers are usually truck-load-bearing and therefore do not technically interfere with your driveway. I don't know what you imagine an inspection chamber to be: it's not like every few years some guy from the health department shows up to take stool samples from you ;-) but apparently your wastewater "supplier" wants an inspection opening above the point where your house drain pipe discharges into the public sewer. Your idea of "out of sight, out of mind" to put the thing in some corner is logically nonsense—it must be in the path of your wastewater (which should not take detours). But how far will the drainage connection be laid onto our property? And how is the inspection chamber related to it? Can't I have the drainage connection laid up to the green cross and have the inspection chamber placed there? Otherwise, we would have it directly on our future driveway
