Dear forum,
we are still relatively at the beginning of our journey to our own home.
We found a plot of land relatively quickly in a new development area; it meets almost all our requirements.
Therefore, we have reserved it for now.
Previously, there was a forest area there.
Kindly, we were allowed to already look at the soil survey for the entire area.
The drilling was not done directly on our potential plot but about 4-5m away from the planned foundation.
We will have a foundation survey made ourselves.
But since we are total laypeople, we have no idea what costs to expect.
The plan is a conventional foundation for a 1.5-story hybrid timber wall house measuring 8x8.5m.
If we assume that the soil is like in the above-mentioned drilling—
Could you perhaps roughly say whether €13,000, which was calculated for the slab, could be sufficient?
(I know it is very hypothetical, but the excitement is great )
According to the soil survey:
The soil there is classified as class 4 (but can become soil class 6 with intensive drying), natural drainage is partially not guaranteed, and there is frost class 3.
The drilling is H 45, our plot lies west above it.
The described filling could come from the construction and road stabilization of the neighboring houses (two of which have been there for quite a while). Otherwise, the soil looks more like drilling 43.
