So you buy these directly as [Bienen-Niströhrchen]. But it’s quite possible that a [Faxrollen] manufacturer has found a wonderful new sales outlet here. The nice thing for them is that you need so many at once and they’re guaranteed to be used up quickly. That reminds me again of the definition of a hobby: maximum cost with minimal benefit.

Just want to briefly point out that there are already 2 holes in the wooden blocks [bezogen sind] and several guests have already been in the tubes [schauen waren].

cool.... I had bought the one from Neudorff after they FINALLY released a decent one. It is placed under our patio roof because it has untreated wood and I didn't want to oil it.

The small holes are almost full - the large tubes hardly yet, but they are used as sleeping and resting places. If you look at the picture in full size, you can see that. There are also currently 2 sleeping guests in the small ones.
