Hello everyone,
I am also looking for someone who has experience with the funding of soundproof windows.
The building permit indicates that our property is located in noise level area V. Reference is made to DIN 4109, Table 10. Unfortunately, I can only find the version from 1989, can someone tell me how I can find out if there is a newer version?
Prescribed sound insulation values:
Bedrooms 50 dB
Living rooms 45 dB
Offices 40 dB
In addition, the installation of window-independent ventilation systems in bedrooms is mandatory.
While searching for sound insulation classes of windows, I came across the site "energieheld" where I read something about funding.
In our case, the noise level area V is caused by a railway line. According to the mentioned site, the contact for funding is the local branch of the Federal Railway Authority. I have already found the contact details of the nearest branch (Cologne).
My questions are:
- Has anyone ever applied for something like this?
- Is it worth it or is the time and effort not justified?
- How do you formulate the request?
Controlled residential ventilation/heat recovery is installed in all rooms on all floors. In addition, triple insulating glazing with laminated safety glass on the outside is planned, structure approx. 8/12/4/12/4 with a construction depth of 82 mm, possibly 90 mm. We planned that independently of the "noise level area V" issue, but it should already comply with the requirements of the building permit.
Beyond that, it would of course be nice to claim funding.
Thank you and best regards
