You can also concrete the columns in or screw them in there. That way you save the "feet". The question is what such a construction costs. I’m actually not willing to pay more than €5000 for the whole thing. And that might get tight.

That would also be my idea. There isn’t much space, but maybe you can have brackets made for this purpose. Let’s see what the professional says on Tuesday. I’m just surprised he hasn’t mentioned it yet. He has already been on site. There isn’t much space and “normal” roof rafter brackets don’t fit here....

My neighbors had similar problems. Some gave up. Others had an L-shaped console made and then attached the awning.

An L-shaped bracket for the roof rafters? That sounds good. It would probably also be significantly cheaper than a complete support system that also needs to be anchored in the ground.

Yes, it was/is. Some material costs and some labor time. Any metalworker can make something like that for you.

That sounds good already. Now I just hope something like that fits on our rafters. I will report back on Tuesday. Thanks for your feedback.

So, a little feedback on the whole thing. I had inquired with a company about the Markilux Syncra. That's the frame I uploaded in a previous post. The frame alone was supposed to cost just over €3,000! Overall, I would then easily be at €6,000-7,000. That's not worth it to me. Yesterday, the specialist from the company was here again. We talked about the possibility of mounting it to the rafters. Next, I will remove the cladding and we want to look at it together with a metalworker. The company would like a fastening that "connects" the three or four rafters to each other so that the load is better distributed. Basically, a sheet metal across the entire width with "sleeves" that you put on the rafters and screw on. Sounds good to me, then I won't have any additional posts in the terrace area. I just hope that this part from the metalworker won't cost more than €1,000. But we'll wait and see....
