From my side, it was not meant as a perfect solution. I had just seen it once like that and thought I’d send it to you as an idea.... :D
Just now I looked at it at Markilux, the pictures are rather sparse. As far as I can see, it is a freestanding awning, basically like a parasol, which is properly weighted on both sides. What these weights are made of probably doesn’t matter, I think, since they only have the function of holding the awning to the ground. It can certainly be a concrete block, which might be clad with wood or otherwise beautified, but also metal.
In your picture I see this bench, which could be made of concrete. There are nice, prefabricated, and smooth blocks to which you could then attach the base.
Of course, you need to look at it in detail to make sure it looks neat...... you can’t just concrete it in, can you? Unfortunately the pictures don’t reveal much....
You can also concrete the columns in or screw them in there. That way you save the "feet". The question is what such a construction costs. I’m actually not willing to pay more than €5000 for the whole thing. And that might get tight.
It would also work with brackets screwed to the rafters and moving the attachment point in front of the roller shutter.
That would also be my idea. There isn’t much space, but maybe you can have brackets made for this purpose. Let’s see what the professional says on Tuesday. I’m just surprised he hasn’t mentioned it yet. He has already been on site. There isn’t much space and “normal” roof rafter brackets don’t fit here....
