Thank you for your explanation. I have always looked at the thermal insulation properties, but currently the sound insulation value worries me more. We heat with an air-to-water heat pump from Nibe. For the transitional periods and winter, we have a wood stove. I will simply ask the general contractor.Sounds more or less like standard new build quality, except for the masonry. Just ask about the price difference for better insulating masonry, maybe the general contractor doesn't even charge exorbitant prices. You won't achieve utopian energy savings with the jump from a U-value of 0.3 to, say, 0.22 anyway, but a few extra euros would be worth it in your place. Do you heat with a heat pump or gas? Paying attention to good design of the underfloor heating and setting the heating properly can save as much energy costs as better U-values of the building envelope in case of doubt.
