That looks more like mortar. The bricks at the corner do not look cut in terms of size. And if you look at the second row of stones, you also don’t see any mineral wool on the top surface. Besides, the compartments would be larger there. The stones look like ours, I guess they are T8 or T9. With us, nothing was covered there either; it was dry again within hours. However, in the lowest floor, an additional masonry barrier tape was installed between the 1st and 2nd row of stones, so that if water later stands in the basement (especially in the cold season), it does not rise up into the wall.

To me, they also look unfilled. I would take it very calmly. There's no need to make a big deal with the [Rohbauer] because of that.

I also tend to think it's unfilled here, but still, you can never pull the slackers' ears early and long enough. They have to learn that leaving the construction site properly at the end of the working day is part of the job, even if it is not explicitly stated in the contract. Or is it a warning to the client, does the catering leave something to be desired?

Many thanks for all your answers! The stones are indeed not filled (I should have paid attention to this for my question) – we worried unnecessarily and should just trust the company more. Unlike us, they are not building for the first time.

They will not be doing such sloppy work at the end of the day for the first time either. So be warned – and for purely educational reasons alone you should reprimand them so they don’t think it goes unnoticed. Otherwise, that was by far not the peak yet.
