Hello everyone,
I am a bit puzzled and need your help regarding Poroton blocks, especially concerning sound insulation.

I am planning the construction of a single-family house (city villa 10x10m) including a basement.
The construction is to be carried out with 36.5cm unfilled Poroton without additional insulation.

Unfortunately, I have noise protection requirements in the development plan because we are in noise level area 4 (66-70db).

The requirements for the walls are therefore at least 40db.

Which block can you recommend to achieve the best compromise between thermal conductivity, strength/bulk density, and sound insulation?

Example for 2 manufacturers

[*]Winerberger T8 unfilled; 0.08 W/mK thermal conductivity; strength class 6; 41.6db sound rating
[*]Thermoplan S7 unfilled; 0.075 W/mK thermal conductivity; strength class 6; NO INFORMATION
    [*]ThermoPlan TS11 unfilled; 0.11 W/mK thermal conductivity 49.5dB

For the S7, S9 I cannot find any information about sound. How is this best dealt with?

I would really appreciate it if someone could help me here. Thank you

Definitely take a filled stone and by no means the first one you listed! Also remember soundproof windows.

Would also not take an unfilled one.
Is the value 40db for the walls explicitly stated like that?
Or is it meant that the sound level in the rooms must not exceed this value?
If you need to prove this calculation-wise, it’s a bit more complex, many factors play a role.
For practical purposes, take a filled one and check the windows for good values, as Bookstar wrote.
And take a controlled residential ventilation system. The best stone won’t help you if you open the windows at night to sleep.

By the way, we decided on the MZ70 Bellenberg.

Hello, thank you for the feedback, the 40db can be taken from DIN 4109. What does controlled residential ventilation mean?

Controlled living space ventilation = controlled living space ventilation

Yes, I know the table. What does the building authority require? Proof? I have already had different experiences there. Myself and with an acquaintance (different location, different building authority). We had to have a calculated proof created. An engineering firm did it and it was more complex than just the sound insulation value of the wall. It involved windows/roof structure/room height/ratio of exterior wall to room size, etc. In the case of my acquaintance, it was a self-written DIN A4 sheet with three details including the technical data sheet of the stone manufacturer
