We are also currently considering pleated blinds. I'm probably worrying unnecessarily again, but: Are these pleated blinds that you clamp into the window frame (the bestsellers at the big department store with the "a") that practically everyone has nowadays actually okay for the windows? The seal of the window frame is also where you clamp them in. Am I not making my house less airtight or damaging my windows by doing this?

In cases like this, I would simply always contact the window manufacturer who delivered the windows and installed them in the house. They usually have the skilled professionals and also the appropriate systems.

The pleated blind here is over 150cm wide. Ordered from an online shop in AT. It is a fixed glazing, didn't want to drill into the frame or anything else. The shoes are glued onto the frame and hold well, I must say.

The small pleated blind is from the big A for clamping.

And does the clip-on one not interfere with the seal/this rubber lip? It looks as if the clip would lie over it.

Thanks for the pictures!
Isn't this rubber responsible for sealing the window tightly? If I wedge a piece of plastic in there, doesn't that reduce the tightness of the window and let air in/out?

Best regards,
Kati
