Hello everyone,
since the additional cost for foil coating the plastic windows in wood look is manageable, we have reconsidered this option.
What experiences have you had with it? With the major window players aluplast, Drutex or Salamander, you shouldn't really go wrong. Drutex seems to be one of the cheaper ones. They are from Poland, after all.
If I understood correctly, the windows are foil-coated, right? Is there any kind of long-term experience that the foil might come loose at the edges after a few years? Or are the windows covered with a complete foil rather than an extra foil per panel, where grooves form at the edges and these ends might come loose over time?
Let us know what experiences you have had with plastic windows in wood decor.
Thank you very much.
PS: Can you actually get sample foils sent here similar to tiles, or is it only possible to get an impression of the feel and look through live inspection?
