Unfortunately, the creaking of the Velux roof windows (GPU FK and UK, 06 and 08) has appeared again for us. Depending on the temperature or sunlight. Even in autumn (currently 2017) at outside temperatures around 8°C, the windows react with creaking for example when switching from sun to clouds. Velux suddenly claims after the 3rd attempt to remedy the defect that it is not due to their windows. This, although measures had already been carried out which brought slight improvement and the Velux technician admitted that other owners of Velux roof windows had this problem as well. Velux now demands that we as tenants hire an expert at our own expense, although Velux was not even willing to listen to the "phenomenon", but simply carried out the 3 attempts to remedy the defect like that. This suggests that they more or less knew what to do.
