Hello,

I want to plaster the water connection in the kitchen. Unfortunately, I am not entirely sure how to do it.

So first I would close the hole to the chimney shaft (on the right in the picture) with a stone and then fill it with lime-cement plaster. Is that correct?

Do I simply plaster the pipes and everything so that only the openings are visible at the top? Or do I put some suitable pre-drilled panel in front as a cover?

How do I proceed with the old drain pipe (on the left in the picture)?

Thank you very much in advance for your advice and best regards!

Is someone coming to clean the rest of the wall? You can fill the hole with stone+ [KZP] or bonding plaster and also put something into the slots next to the water pipes. That is enough if it looks like the repaired spots all around and also if the pipes are still visible. Better less than more, otherwise it will be thicker than the planned plaster layer, which causes extra work again. You don't need stencils or anything else, just a mason's trowel and possibly a smoothing trowel, but actually not even that for holes. Afterwards, plaster will be applied over the entire surface and smoothed with appropriate tools and aids ([Putzschienen], smoothing trowels, float, butterfly/filler knife, sander).
