Hello User,

I have discovered the following on our house:
on the finished plastered windows there is a small, white rubber lip lying vertically on the window frame.

This lip is now torn several times on some windows...

Is this already a serious defect? Keyword: protection against rain/driving rain/water?

Or can this still be tolerated?

I will upload photos.

Best regards & have a nice Friday to you

Yes, sorry outside.

I also don't know why the plasterer is doing such a botch job or if he installed "Restabschnitte" of such strips.
I'll be there again later. It will be photographed.

That's what I mean. Does anyone know this? The appearance is ruined anyway

That is indeed probably the plastering strip, but I would want to hit the plasterer.

Whether that matters and if so, what, and whether it is okay, someone else has to decide.

My wife just showed me an old photo, he probably used remnants of such moldings. It says Alligator on it.

Still asking again because I have no budget left for the expert (who charges 167€/45min...) =

is this now extremely bad for the next 30 years??

How much money can you approximately claim back for something like this?

Best regards

What does the craftsman say about that? He should at least have the chance to fix his defect first.
