Hello everyone,

we want to equip our old building (1958) with clinker slips and ETICS.
The base of the house is currently clad with natural stone.

Due to the appearance, we would like to plaster it.
Is that possible without any problems?
What do we need to consider?

Many thanks in advance for your opinions.

Regards
Sebastian

Hello Basti, you want to plaster the natural stone? I really find it very beautiful on your house. Plastering natural stone is actually not a problem. However, you should make sure to remove any (old) loose mortar and, very importantly, use a soft plaster, otherwise cracks can form in the wall with plaster that is too hard. Good luck!
