Hello everyone,

we are looking for a plant that we can sow on our stored topsoil (which has been lying there for a year now) so that the weeds do not spread so easily. Does anyone know a plant that is suitable for something like this?

Best regards

The topsoil will definitely be properly distributed, or will it remain as a pile of earth for [Gartengestaltung]?

Where exactly do you think the point is in planting the earth mound if it does not serve as a design element?

First, it will lie there for a year now and we would prefer to have a plant on it that can later be incorporated into the soil (during spreading) rather than all sorts of weeds that may settle there.

Google something about green manure. We used plants that loosened the soil with their taproots. You wouldn't need that.

Thank you. :-) I tried so many words and descriptions, but I didn't come up with that. :-(
