Hello everyone, I am currently planning the spotlights on the ground floor because we are getting a concrete ceiling and I am so unsure whether there are enough spots or too many and whether the arrangement makes sense. I would be very grateful for any tips

Leave that in the living area unless you want to live in a kind of medical practice. Consider a lighting concept that suits a single-family house and is not intended for commercial use.

Why medical practice? Too many irradiators?

First, draw the furniture 1 to 1. Consider decoration, mirror, picture positions, etc. Only then can you start planning. Don't forget the outdoor lighting.

Because in the living room you usually want a cozy atmosphere. Spotlights create a very focused, rather cool light, hence the comparison to a doctor's office. I don’t have a single spotlight in the living room. Wall lamps, a ceiling outlet, and then there’s also a floor lamp.

Am I right in understanding that you have only marked the spotlights now? No other outlets/lighting? I don’t understand the arrangement in the dining area at all. Is something crossed out there now?

Above the dining table there will be a ceiling lamp (where a spotlight is crossed out) and in the bay window there will be wall lights on the left and right. Everything should be dimmable, so a cozy atmosphere can be created. But when you want light, it should also be well illuminated everywhere. The question now is, is this too much of a good thing, or are fewer spotlights enough to illuminate everything? Not so easy...
