Hello, we would like to have some ideas for the design of our outdoor area because our driveway is not straight at the moment and we are not yet fully convinced by our own ideas. Currently, the house is standing and all around it is farmland except for a temporary driveway.

I would simply upload the layout of the site here and try to describe our ideas to you.
Is this desired here with the upload?

Best regards

I am curious! Have you ever planned with a program? The Gardena online, called mygarden..., is recommendable. We started planning our outdoor areas with it last year.

Yes, gladly. However, you should also share your style and your needs - especially young children should be considered, as well as the enjoyment of harvesting, etc.

Hello, I just wanted to get in touch again, unfortunately I was busy the last few days.

So I’m not a graphic designer, but I think you can see what is meant.

Right away to the needs. We have one child, two cars and no basement, gardening experience is basically close to zero, therefore the help here.

What is meant by style? Our house is in a yellowish tone, so we prefer warm colors.

So now to the explanation:

The terrain will be quite level. Entrance area without steps, only where the carport is I have to come up with something because the neighbor’s property is higher. There is a large tree in front of the house.

Paving work: Everything outlined in red should be paved. For the terrace maybe rather WPC decking? Terrace depth 4m, path width 1m?

Garage: Planned so far is a double garage, one half as a storage room/seating area, the second vehicle is usually parked outside, possibly a carport in front of the garage is planned for later. The initial idea was a double garage with a storage room attached at the back but due to the dimensions of about 9m length we think it would look too "massive". Because of the S-curve the driveway is quite difficult to design, so we thought of a small gate to the right of the garage, the driveway itself remains open.

Carport: Serves only as a shelter for bicycles and garbage bins, possibly a small shed could be added here. Where it is now marked there are two small windows (utility room and guest WC), therefore a closed room is not possible there.

Planting.... yes, little to no idea, basically all lawn around at first. Behind the carport a small bed for the child and the tomatoes.

Pool: Someday, down in the corner

Fence: Will be arranged with the neighbors, still open

We had more ideas, but we are stuck with this layout so far.

Here are a few pictures as a reference (window frames and roof overhangs are kept white):

Best regards

That's quite a lot of paving or terrace area. Have you ever added up the square meters and checked if that still fits with your [Geschossflächenzahl]?
