Best would certainly be a floor plan of the ground floor with the pipe routing the plumber envisions hand-drawn in. That way, you can imagine the unit and, if necessary, express ideas. Taking down the entire ceiling for one piece of pipe is nonsense.

Thank you very much for the answers!

We agreed on exposed concrete because we only want to paint the ceilings, which is why hanging them up annoys me so much. And, as you already mentioned, I also don't see the point of completely hanging them. Later we have an appointment with the site manager. Also to find out what the original plan was. We have two site managers, and one of them already started stammering a bit when I hinted to him that this can't work, so the boss is coming today. We chose a construction company from a nearby village, so not my big company, I hope they are accommodating since they rely much more on a good reputation. But why is 2.40m too little? I have lived my whole life in rooms no higher than that and have always been satisfied?

Don’t you have a construction plan? Something like that should actually be in there!

If the 2.4 m are okay for you, that's great! It can’t be changed now anyway.

Best regards,

Andreas

I have to ask stupidly now, what the work plan is supposed to be? The construction description? Or is it something else? *Women, you know*

Hello Claudia,

You don't paint exposed concrete; you surely mean a cast-in-place concrete or filigree ceiling.

That's the right approach! Feel free to report back on the outcome later; at the moment I can't really follow your statements. Which isn't so surprising, after all you're a layperson and I have no idea about logistics

The work plan or execution drawing is the plan based on the structural engineering that all tradespeople need to build the house as owed according to the contract and in compliance with current technical regulations. In this particular case, it includes, among other things, where the exhaust pipe should be installed.

Rhenish regards

this is the floor plan that usually ends up lying around somewhere on the construction site because some trade left it there. almost everything important for the shell construction phase is drawn on this plan. often it is also a folder or similar with several sheets. for example, the floor plan shows where the said shaft is planned in your house. if it is missing there, the planners messed up.
