Hello everyone!
Our shed roof is definitely going to be covered with a large photovoltaic system. Initially, when the angle of the roof was supposed to be flatter, the roof covering was planned to be made of trapezoidal sheets. For various reasons, it will now be the relatively massive concrete stone.
Our manufacturer gives a 20-year warranty on the roof construction itself; otherwise, there is of course still the 5-year warranty. So actually a quite decent legal protection.
But as is well known, house manufacturers are not necessarily the ideal solar installers when it comes to experience, prices, and modernity.
If the roof gets slightly damaged by the photovoltaic system in such a way that water ingress is only discovered after years, neither of the two companies will want to take responsibility for it.
Who has experience regarding the extent to which solar installers can extend their warranty?
Similar to chip tuning of a new car?
