Photovoltaic system new single-family house

Hello dear community,

my wife and I will most likely start building a single-family house with 150m2 living space in March with a 45° gable roof. The roof surface would perfectly face south, so I have been considering the installation of a photovoltaic system.

Since this purchase was not included in the current financing, I would be interested to know what financing options are available and whether an installation is worthwhile (even with financing) and what you would recommend?!

The payback period for a photovoltaic system without storage is calculated at about 8 to 11 years with a kWp price of 1500 euros net, with credit financing corresponding to the costs somewhat later.

The cheapest option is financing through the KFW (Prog. 274?) without a land charge registration. However, not every bank agrees to that, as the decision on collateral is made by the bank. There is an online bank operating nationwide with the three letters W S and K, which does not require a land charge but instead practically allows the plant or the electricity yield to be assigned to them.

Ultimately, in my opinion, this is currently a break-even calculation, because whether you spend 100 euros on the electricity supplier or on loan repayment does not make much difference now.

The feed-in tariff at 13ct is not impressive, so the main focus should be on self-consumption and the ratio of self-consumption to electricity sales.

We are doing it anyway, for the sake of the green thumb.

Full financing of the costs by KfW, we have directly had a suitable (higher) mortgage registered. Amortization (if I were actually paying it off appropriately) after just over 10 years, however we still have the feed-in tariff from early 2014 and a fairly high own consumption (SWO roof orientation).
