Thanks for the tip! I find it really beautiful and I like the easy handling and adjustment. And it looks really great. I'm really considering buying something like that.

The price is completely fair - good design can be expensive, because good people should also earn money. A less designed variant of the same principle would be to take a rail à la Nordic Track and distribute pendant lamps of your choice on it with appropriate adapters and move them as needed.

Unfortunately, yes! But in return, you have a nice lamp that works great and that you like to look at and use.

I agree! As you say, there are plenty of cheaper alternatives, which then also look cheaper.
Everyone has to deal with that themselves (and their wallet)...

I think there are limits. I don't know if they have been reached or even exceeded here. But if something is not made from Unobtainum, I think there must be limits to the margin of a product. This is not a one-off piece.
