I would always work with a rainwater catch basin for drainage. It's easier for maintenance purposes.
Then, depending on the ground (my advice applies to well-draining soil), I would always lead the water to the soakaway shaft using perforated corrugated pipes, which you can already buy on Amazon with a coating (not the coconut stuff).
You can easily expose the KG pipe for rainwater (not the house wastewater pipe), cut it open with a grinder, and connect it with a Y piece and a slip coupling. Remember silicone lubricant and to sharpen and deburr the edges.
I don't know "mineral concrete" as a base, here we use recycling. Either normal (please not), or certified OR the rich ones use natural stone recycling. All three have in common that it's a mix from 0-32. Wet it well, and then vibrate it (protects the lungs, the air filter, and it feels like it holds better).
What are drainage channels?
Formulate your questions clearer :P
And consider whether you want to pave, for me it was too much work.
On YT there is PAPA Mike, who about a year ago made two videos, one "Instructions for the base" and one "How to properly set edge stones."
He also seems to me like someone who acts first and thinks later. The Hornbach master workshop videos are just frustrating to watch, everything always works there.
