Parkett Meister Lindura HD400 experiences

Hi everyone,

since I have read partly not too much positive here in the forum about the Lindura floor from Meister, but these reports are partly a few years old and refer to the HD300, I have to ask about the topic again. Allegedly, the HD400 floor was also recently changed again (article number with 89xx).

now my concern: we possibly want to lay Lindura flooring in a renovation project (floating or glued). Are there any experiences with the new HD400 floors? During installation? Sensitivity of the floor? Other problems or gladly positive feedback...

I am also just thinking about it. Judging by the patterns, you absolutely cannot assess the sorting, for example, so I’ll probably have to ask the dealer if I could take a look at whole planks. What I would also be interested in is oil vs. varnish. Varnish would be significantly less effort to maintain, but oil looks (at least in the DinA4 sample) nicer.

Partly you read that Lindura is quite prone to scratches. What would be your alternative consideration?

We have had the floor (hd400 naturgeölt - Eiche authentic gebürstet 8904) for a good six months and are completely satisfied. We were confused by the negative reviews here. So we first had the hallway and bedroom laid. While furnishing, we got a deeper scratch which we treated with oil. If you don’t know it’s there, you don’t see it. Otherwise no scratches. Possibly due to the oiled version (not lacquered). There are photos here that we cannot understand. Knots are a matter of taste - we like it. Feel and appearance are great. Living room to follow.
