We are also considering installing this floor and have therefore taken some samples home from the hardware store. These samples have already passed through many hands - but still look flawless. I rolled back and forth on these samples with a swivel chair and tried to scratch them with a key. Nothing visible! The only thing I managed was to make a scratch with a carpet knife using force. But except for a stone floor, I can't think of any floor that would withstand that. Somewhere I had read that someone was able to make scratches with a fingernail. I really wonder what kind of fingernails those must have been. In short: I cannot understand many of the negative experiences, although I myself am quite critical of products. I would like to point out that the floor is installed in many thousands of apartments and houses - but you never hear anything about those, because they don't even go to a forum to share their positive experiences. In any case, we will install the floor because it best meets our requirements at a moderate price. As a tip, I would also recommend the GreenTec floor from Egger. I find its surface just a bit better, but unfortunately we cannot install it everywhere.
