Pantry: Is a heating coil sensible in controlled residential ventilation?

Hello everyone,

a heating cable is to run along the wall in our pantry. I understand that it used to make sense to prevent moist air from the kitchen from condensing on the cooler pantry wall.

However, we have a controlled residential ventilation system with exhaust air in the pantry – does the heating cable still make sense or can I do without it?

In our dining area, there is only controlled residential ventilation exhaust, no heating. The temperature is almost always the same, the difference is not noticeable.

Since you are planning a controlled residential ventilation, nothing will condense there anymore.

Even without controlled residential ventilation, nothing would happen there.

We do not have [Kontrollierte-Wohnraumlüftung] and no heating in the pantry. Stories about condensation I consider to be fairy tales from clever salesmen.

Nope, in grandma's days that made sense. Just like a pantry in itself.
