This was recommended to me in a painter's specialty store. These are probably exactly the qualities I want, and it is probably 100 percent mineral. I myself have little knowledge unfortunately... That’s why I am turning to you :) I would be happy if the quantity questions could also be answered. Many thanks!

They only make sense from my point of view if you have a difficult substrate. Which is not the case because you are having everything redone. Use a dispersion silicate paint. It also has all the good properties and is 95% mineral. But it is also easy to apply. I think you have been made too afraid.

Thank you for the advice. I am currently considering StoColor Sil Premium. It is currently on sale online. My problem is still how much of it I need... And what I should slap underneath...

Read through the technical data sheets. Everything should be found there.

Find the technical datasheet on the manufacturer's website, the consumption is listed there.

Edit: Chrizz was faster

We are currently gaining experience with the SoColor Sil In. The 0.14 l/m2 specified in the datasheet is quite accurate. That is enough for a rich application of color. I wouldn't skimp on the paint application either, otherwise you'll regret the shadows.

The premium variant is more abrasion-resistant than the classic Sil In, which may not be necessary in all rooms. This way you can save some money.

As we have found out, the problem is not the paint abrasion but the abrasion from objects you catch on the wall, metal abrasion from ladders, etc., that you bump into the wall.
