Overview of house types and prices

There are "cheap/low-cost" providers and high-end providers in every type/segment of house construction.

We build using timber frame construction, so I know a bit more about it. There are mass low-cost providers, mid-range providers, and high-end providers who all install materials in Biööko+ (I'll just take that ;)) – with the corresponding costs.

Therefore, in my opinion, the type of house construction can be clarified with two options: Engage with the subject professionally and decide what you want! Or set a standard for the floor plan and equipment and obtain and compare offers from possible providers.

Comparing offers is another matter entirely and incredibly complex to compare alongside the equipment for heating, sanitation, electrical, interior design, external services, delivery times, and so on and so forth ...

Just take a walk through your desired residential area and take photos of beautiful houses, then continue looking for companies that can build your beautiful house. Both solid construction and timber frame should be possible.

I am basically looking for the cheapest house type, without going into details. Simply considering the building materials, the time, the prefabricated architecture, etc.

Building a house is way too complex. Not just material, but also time and construction cannot simply be put into a formula.

I can think of: tiny house, container construction. A houseboat at least saves the land plot. There are also people who live in a yurt in the forest. Sorry, you asked about building, not about living... there I got off topic. Building a house is always connected with permits, authorities, and energy standards... somewhere down there in the cheap-price land it ends. Or you steal materials and build it yourself.

Hello dear community, since I could not find anything via the search, I am trying it here with a post to you. I am currently trying to get an overview of houses or house types and their prices. By that I mean, for example, solid house vs. prefab house vs. Swedish house (which is actually also a prefab house) vs. XXX. I am basically looking for the cheapest house type, without going into detail. Simply from the materials, the time, the prefabricated architecture, etc. What building options are there actually? Maybe there are totally brilliant and inexpensive ways to build, but one doesn’t know them because they are not so common. Do you have ideas or know where I can find such an overview?
