Outdoor air-to-water heat pump is smoking and steaming

In the summer, I would use it to heat the pool :)

I was also a bit startled the first time when I watched our air-to-water heat pump during the defrosting process.
By the way, I just checked the heat balance. Of 8,703 kWh produced (thermal), 245 kWh (thermal) were fed back for the defrosting process. So, about €15 electricity costs have been incurred for that in 6 months. So it’s negligible :rolleyes:
